There is nothing on earth that can compare to the joy that awaits us in Heaven. I am sure that if Kayln was given the option at the moment of death, to come back to earth and continue on as things were, or go on to Heaven, she would choose the joy of Heaven without hesitation. I am sure she rejoiced at being free of the pain, no longer trapped in a body that wasn’t working.
I am still trying to come to terms with what I don’t want to accept, that Kayln is gone. I never thought she would leave us so soon. My distress is quieted by the fact that God knew exactly how long Kayln would be here. Psalm 139:16 reveals that “all the days of my life were written in your book before any of them came to be”. I can rest in the knowledge that Kayln is now experiencing a level of joy and peace that cannot be found here on earth.
